Fun and priceless...

“I was at a big transition point in my life, and I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do next. I decided that I wanted to become a better story teller, but I had no idea where to start. I really knew nothing about storytelling, just that I had a lot of stories that I wanted to share...

"Chad worked with me from the ground up on structure and components of a story, story telling exercises to improve specific aspects of my stories, and numerous ways to make each story come alive. I feel like I am improving with each lesson, and it has been a tremendous amount of fun! His expertise has been priceless.”

Encouraging...

"I was invited to facilitate a three-day event for a large group at one of my key clients, which is a Fortune 100 company. I worried my comfort level with mid-size groups would not translate to an audience of this extent. I wanted to keep the personal touch, remain present for all and keep the energy level high. I was hoping to relax, get out of my head and have fun, so I signed up for coaching with Chad.

"He pushed my limits while respecting my authentic style. Chad is a great listener and observer, and he gives actionable feedback. His easygoing and encouraging approach helps risk taking and just experimenting. As a result of his work I had good reviews all around. They told me I was personable and easy to connect with."

Who Will This Help?

People come to me for a wide variety of reasons. You may be here because:

  • You get nervous on job interviews and your mind goes blank.
  • You're terrified of public speaking and have trouble expressing yourself.
  • You avoid social situations like the plague because you feel awkward and don't know what to say.
  • You feel stuck in a rut in life.
  • You have trouble talking to and connecting with new people.
  • You can't move toward your goals because fear and self-doubt stop you in your tracks.
  • You're shy and can't break out of your shell.

These problems can cripple you and suck the joy out of your life. But they can feel impossible to overcome. In fact, I've heard students say it took them an entire year to get up the courage to sign up for my classes.

Knowing this, I make sure my students gain solutions for all of these problems. Plus, I make sure to teach them in addictively fun ways, so learning to have a better life feels easy and rewarding.

How Does Personalized Coaching Work?

In each coaching session, I'll teach you powerful skills and guide you through simple games and exercises that help you learn to use them. For example, I might teach you a strategy for telling stories effectively and have you practice it while making up a story. This not only allows you to practice the strategy, it builds your creative muscle.

The exercises we do will start off easy and build in challenge as your skills advance. By the end of your series of coaching sessions, you'll be shocked by how much progress you've made.

I've created a framework for the lessons that is very effective. (And lightyears beyond what you'll find in a typical improv class that's just about comedy.) This framework provides the key skills most people need and want. Of course, one great thing about coaching is that it's personalized—so we can always adapt to focus exclusively on what fits your goals.

What We Cover in Each Coaching Session

01 Counter-Intuitive Ways to Alleviate Anxiety

Under pressure, many people freeze up. Their mind goes blank. The harder they try, the worse it gets. If you've experienced that, you'll love this lesson. After learning a few simple strategies, you'll find those problems are a thing of the past.

02 How to Unleash Your Creativity

Creativity is a skill you use all the time. Not just in things like writing and art, but in problem solving, conversation, and other day-to-day situations. Unfortunately, you may believe you're not creative. But that's not true, you've just had your creativity and imagination beaten down. In this lesson, you'll learn about how we block ideas and how to let them flow free.

03 How to Glide Past Communication Roadblocks

Not only do we block our own ideas, we often block the ideas of others. And vice versa. This happens in everything from conversations to business meetings. In this lessons, you'll learn how to avoid and handle communication glitches.

04 Public Speaking Made Easy

Public speaking terrifies many people. But that's just because they don't have a strategy that makes them feel in charge when they do it. That's why you'll learn a simple yet powerful system for how to give effective presentations... even with zero preparation.

05 Hold Your Audience Spellbound with Secrets of World Famous Storytellers

Storytelling is a key part of communication. It's valuable in conversations, presentations, and anywhere else you need to share your ideas. That's why you'll learn the secrets of how to tell captivating stories that are entertaining, memorable, and meaningful.

06 Charisma: The Hidden Science of Personal Magnetism

Human interaction is more than just words. There's your voice tone, energy level, and that mysterious thing called presence. In this lesson, you'll learn a variety of skills that will help you connect with your audience and hold their attention—not with what you say, but with how you say it.

07 How to Ignite Sizzling Conversations and Keep Them Burning

Ever wanted to talk with someone but couldn't figure out what to say? Ever watched helplessly as a great conversation flickered out? No more! You'll learn a strategy that won't just guarantee you can always move things forward, it will ensure your conversations are more interesting and rewarding.

08 How to Get Out of Your Head and Into the Moment

The more you go on autopilot, the less effective you'll be in life. Unfortunately, we get so caught up in our daily routine and countless worries about the future... we don't notice and enjoy the present. But one key idea will give you the ability to refocus your mind and live in the moment.

Why Is Coaching Best on the Phone?
Debunking the Myths.

It surprises some people that we can do coaching effectively over the phone. I've had students who worried at first that it couldn't work. "Don't you need to see me? Shouldn't we meet in person? Or do video chat?" Luckily, they've trusted me and found that the phone is perfect for coaching.

Admittedly, there are a few aspects of body language you can only work on in person. But, luckily, you can work on many aspects of nonverbal communication over the phone, such as your voice tone, energy level, and how you use your attention. And those are usually what lead to big breakthroughs.

Here are a few more reasons phone coaching works so well.

  • It's easy and convenient. You don't have to worry about commuting and bad traffic or internet access and dropped connections. Just pick up the phone and start talking.
  • It's distraction-free. The highly focused nature of phone coaching enhances learning.
  • It feels safe and supportive. The games and exercises I guide you through will stretch you—and it's easier stretch when you feel a sense of privacy.
  • It frees up your imagination. People call radio "the theater of the mind." Similarly, the phone makes it easy to forget your surroundings and unleash your creativity. Since you can more easily imagine you're somewhere else and even someone else, it helps your imagination stretch beyond its normal limits.

How Can You Get Started Today?

It's really simple to get started. Just sign up for one of the two programs below.

Most people sign up for the eight-lesson package. If you do one session per week, it's a two-month course. And if you do two sessions per week, you can complete it in just one month. Either way, it gives us time to make major progress toward your goals.

There's also a smaller package of lessons if you have a smaller goal or just want to dip your toe into the coaching waters to start.

After you sign up, I'll email you to find out about your goals and schedule our first session. Once we do that, buckle your seat belt and get ready for an exciting ride.

Stretching Your Comfort Zone is Always Worth It

It takes courage to say, "Now's the time to overcome my limitations and gain the skills I need." I understand that. I've worked with a lot of people who doubted they could change, feared looking foolish, and felt stuck.

Stretching your comfort zone is scary. But it's always worth it.

It's worth it when you speak to an audience and realize you're enjoying yourself. It's worth it when you meet a stranger at a party and form such a strong connection that you talk with them for hours. It's worth it when your negative self-talk quiets down and you get to enjoy a feeling of peace and self-confidence.

And it all starts by having the guts to say, "Now's the time."
