He wrote the books Impro, and Impro for Storytellers. He's been a major influence in the world of improv. He created TheatreSports, which is played around the world. Many of the ideas that pervade improv originate from Keith.

Viola Spolin is the author of Improvisation for the Theater, known as the bible of improv. Her games are played around the world. Millions of people have been influenced directly and indirectly by her ideas and concepts of improvisation. Her son, Paul Sills, founded the Second City.
